PVC Patches Molded for Detail That Lasts Outdoors
PVC gets molded, not stitched, which is exactly why it holds fine detail embroidery can't and shrugs off rain, mud, and sun without fading.

What Is a PVC Patch?
A PVC patch starts as a mold, not a stitch pattern. Your design gets built into that mold, then soft PVC rubber is pressed or injected into it, either flat (2D) or with the surface built up so parts of the design sit raised above the rest (3D).
Because it's molded rather than stitched, PVC doesn't run into the thread-count limits embroidery does — fine lines and multiple colors can sit close together in a small area without blurring into each other the way dense stitching sometimes does.
The rubber itself is the other half of the appeal. It doesn't absorb water, doesn't fade the way dye can under UV, and flexes instead of cracking, which is why PVC shows up so often on gear that actually gets left outside.

What we control in every mold
Every one of these gets set for your specific design and how the patch will actually be used.
What we offer
Our PVC Patches Services
2D PVC Patches
Flat, clean color fill with sharp edges — the more budget-friendly option when raised detail isn't the point.
Explore Service3D PVC Patches
Sculpted, raised sections give the design real depth instead of just color on a flat surface.
Explore ServiceGlow-in-the-Dark PVC
A compound that actually glows after dark — mostly for tactical gear, but plenty of novelty uses too.
Explore ServiceReflective PVC Patches
Reflective backing built in, for anything that needs to stay visible in low light.
Explore ServiceMulti-Color PVC Patches
More color-filled sections mean more detail, as long as the mold is planned to keep them from blurring together.
Explore ServiceCustom Shape PVC Patches
Die-cut into whatever outline the design needs — you're not stuck with a rectangle or circle.
Explore ServiceVelcro-Backed PVC Patches
Hook-and-loop backing, for patches meant to be swapped out rather than permanently attached.
Explore ServiceBulk PVC Patch Orders
Larger runs still need consistent color and detail across every single patch — that's a mold-quality question.
Explore ServiceBuilt for the use case
PVC Patches Chosen for the Application
PVC gets picked specifically when durability or weather resistance matters more than a soft, textile feel.
Tactical & Military Gear
Low-profile and durable enough to hold up to heavy, repeated use.
Outdoor & Adventure Gear
Resists fading in the sun and shrugs off rain in a way fabric patches can't.
Bags & Backpacks
Velcro backing here means the patch can be swapped or repositioned whenever.
Uniforms
Consistent branding that holds up to daily wear without looking worn down fast.
Vehicles & Equipment
Weather resistance matters more on gear that lives outdoors permanently.
Promotional Giveaways
Bold color and a molded look that stands out as a standalone item, not just a garment add-on.

Why it matters
Why Professional PVC Patch Design Matters
Molding a patch isn't just filling in a shape with rubber — the mold design determines whether fine detail actually holds up.
Poorly Designed PVC Mold
Appareldox PVC Patches
Fine detail fills in or disappears
Mold detail
Fine lines and small text need a mold designed to hold that detail cleanly.
Colors bleed into each other
Color fill
Each color needs enough separation in the mold to stay distinct.
Raised areas look flat or uneven
Raised height
The right raised height reads clearly without looking flat or overdone.
Rough, uneven border edges
Border style
A clean border keeps the patch from looking rough at the edge.
Backing doesn't suit the use case
Backing choice
The right backing suits how and where the patch will be attached.
Colors blur together at small sizes
Color count
Too many colors in a small mold can blur together if not planned well.
Detail lost when scaled down
Size scaling
Detail needs to be simplified appropriately as the patch size shrinks.
Material fades or cracks over time
Material quality
Good PVC compound resists fading and cracking over time.
